Fushimi Inari-Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) is a magnificent Temple zone in Kyoto, Japan. It is a collection of maybe hundreds of Japanese temples connected with tens of thousands of とりい Gates located in the Fushimi Inari Mountain south-east of Kyoto. Aside from the main Temples and roads, there's always some ancient temple ruins scattered around the 山 waiting to be found. When I got there, I could only discover the main paths due to time issues. But they were absolutely amazing and was nothing like anything I've ever seen. It would probably take maybe weeks to fully see the mountain by foot.
